Following on from the success of the Northern EPCEW Church Holidays of 2016 & 2017 we are excited to announce the 2018 Church Holiday. We pray that God would bless this time to His church, that we might enjoy Him, enjoy His creation and enjoy fellowship with one another over the long weekend of Easter.

More Information

The accommodation is simple log cabins with their own bathroom and small kitchen facilities. These are arranged around a central communal area with a number of open fields & children’s play areas (also goats!). The cabins have 3 sleeping areas:
1 twin room
1 room with a bunk-bed and a separate single bed
1 living room with 2 sofas suitable for sleeping on
For more details on this see the Jonas Centre Website.

There are 12 cabins in total and therefore space is limited so if you intend on coming please do sign-up early to avoid disappointment.
Capacity could be expanded if some of us were willing to camp (volunteers welcome).

We do have some particular opportunities for service on the holiday for which volunteers would be great. These include:

  • One person willing to coordinate the cleaning and tidying following meals.
  • Volunteers to help Joy Winch with the cooking (she will be coordinating this).
  • Volunteer(s) to organise some specific activities tailored towards the younger children.

Please also do continue in prayer for the church holiday; that it might be a useful time of fellowship together and that The Lord would be glorified in the building up and unity of His Church.

If you have any questions then just ask Peter Lawley whose email address is on the bottom of the sign-up form.
